AMANDA P. HOM
Senior Project Director
Amanda Hom has more than 14 years of working with nonprofit organizations. Since serving as the Executive Director for the Barristers Club of San Francisco, she has been consulting independently with nonprofits for more than three years. Amanda has worked with nonprofit boards both on a professional level and on the volunteer level. She has extensive experience in managing events from large state wide conferences to smaller high profile VIP receptions, including all logistics from catering and volunteer recruitment to fundraising and development.
While consulting with non-profits, Amanda also worked over 3 years as Media Director and Community Liaison Director with Strategies, LLC, a public relations firm specializing in designing media, community outreach and public relations and public affairs campaigns. In Amanda's capacity as Media Director at Strategies, she has successfully launched tactical communications campaigns that focused on the end-game - advancing the clients' corporate agendas, products and services. Amanda has worked locally, regionally and nationally, with print, broadcast, and on-line media, with clients from a wide spectrum of industries.
